Conflict Management Workshops

What is it ?

Workshops can be tailored to individual and organisation needs but typically a two hour participative workshop to understand the nature, causes and consequences of conflict at work.

For participants to understand their own approach to conflict, and how to respond when faced with conflict using the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument. Also to understand how others may approach conflict in a different way. How to deal with conflict in a constructive fashion, addressing root causes and not just symptoms.

To give participants techniques to have constructive conversations over difficult topics.

Why use it ?

Mediation on its own will not prevent further disagreements and conflicts arising in the workplace.

Leaders, managers and supervisors are rarely given the skills and knowledge to tackle difficult conversations that can lead to conflicts and disagreements.

Employees are generally not equipped to deal with difficult conversations without their self esteem being impacted.
